My philosophy has long been MUSIC IS FOR LIFE, and so the goal for teaching has always been to create “a lifetime musician.” To achieve this goal, the skills we most often stress are aimed at the small ensemble setting (1 –5 people).

Part of this is practical; orchestras don’t have room for guitar players (or banjo players).

Small ensembles are easier to start and easier to maintain. They are the backbone of rock, country, bluegrass, jazz…. even the contemporary worship team at your local church.

A large part of what I offer is one on one attention on guitar, electric bass and mandolin instruction.
